When fallen leaves are picked up and taken to landfills, they decompose with countless non-organic materials. As a result, a gas is released into our atmosphere called Methane. Methane gas contributes to more than 20% of global warming on our planet.

And while the issues regarding plastic bags are commonly acknowledged, many people don't realize how big the problem is. 160,000 plastic bags are produced every second and 5,000,000,000 are produced every single year. Additionally, one single plastic bag takes 1,000 years to decompose. At these rates, it is obvious that plastic is increasingly destroying our environment and the future of our planet.

What many people don't realize is that paper products are almost equally as detrimental to the environment. About 14 million trees are cut down every year to make paper bags. At this rate, countless of harmful effects to our planet are rising and increasing each and every day.
